Video Submission
All presenters are strongly recommended to submit their presentation videos. Although the submission is not mandatory, it will be beneficial to attendees who wish to watch presentations online or catch up on any presentations they may have missed. The submitted videos will be accessible to conference attendees via the online conference platform for 30 days following the event.
Deadline for Video Submission and Release Form: August 12, 2025
Please carefully follow the instructions below to create and upload presentation videos.
Release Form
A release form granting permission to host the presentation videos online (to be accessed by the virtual conference attendees) must be uploaded along with the presentation videos. The release form can be downloaded from the following link.
Video File Requirements
The following are the requirements for preparing presentation videos:
- File size limit for regular/position papers: 100 MB
- File format: MP4
Please ensure that your video meets these specifications before submission.
The video should be shorter than the maximum time for presentation: 15 min. Beyond these requirements, the format of the presentation is flexible. However, please ensure that your video includes the following:
- The title of the paper.
- The name(s) of the author(s).
- A reference to SICE FES 2025.
Files that do not meet these requirements may not be accepted for upload.
How to Submit Videos
Authors are required to upload both the presentation video and the release form by August 12 through the Papercept system. The link for uploading the video and release form will be available in mid-July.
Recording Suggestions
There are several options available for recording your video. Zoom is a popular and user-friendly choice. We recommend using the recording tool embedded in the Zoom platform to create your videos efficiently. For detailed guidance, please refer to the instructions on “Enabling and Starting Local Recordings.”
After recording, please check the file size to ensure it is less than 100 MB. If your video exceeds this limit, you can compress it using tools such as FreeVideoCompressor , FreeConvert , or HandBrake .
General Suggestions for Recording and Uploading Your Presentation
- It is strongly recommended to include the presenter’s face in the recording while ensuring that the slides remain clearly visible.
- Make sure the movement of your laser pointer (i.e., your mouse cursor) is recorded, as it can enhance the clarity of your presentation.
- Be aware that in some cases, mouse movements may not be captured during the recording. Verify this before finalizing your video.
- It is recommended to use slides with a 4:3 aspect ratio. This allows sufficient space for a thumbnail of the speaker to appear alongside the slides.
- Allow plenty of time for uploading your video file, as the transfer process may take longer than expected depending on the file size and your internet connection.
