Student Travel Grant Award (STGA)

The SICE Conference Committee is pleased to announce the following three authors as recipients of this year's Student Travel Grant Award. We sincerely thank all applicants for their interest.

Description

SICE FES 2025, held in Thailand, offers a unique opportunity for students, particularly those from neighboring Southeast Asian countries, to engage with the latest advancements in the field. To promote presentations of such international students, the student travel grant award is provided in an extended manner this year. Up to 20 students will receive an award of 50,000 JPY each. Eligible students are encouraged to apply for the grant following the instructions below.

Application method

An STGA candidate should be an undergraduate/graduate student (at the time of the application) outside Japan or Thailand who attends SICE FES 2025 and presents his/her paper there. Applications are completed by sending an email with the following items to sice2025-stga(at)sice.or.jp (Please replace (at) to @ in this e-mail address) by the deadline July 9, 2025.

  • Paper title
  • Name of presenter
  • Date of birth
  • Necessity of financial support

Recipients will be selected by the SICE Conference Committee based on the paper quality and the necessity of financial support. Four weeks ahead of the conference period, the finalists will be announced directly to them. Each finalist is asked to send a copy of student ID at this stage.
